IMPERFECT HEARTS IS AN ORGANIZATION THAT FOCUSES ON EMBRACING THE BEAUTY OF IMPERFECTIONS. ASSIGNED AS THE FINAL PROJECT FOR MY GRAPHIC DESIGN EDUCATION, THIS PROJECT IS A CULMINATION OF THE VARIOUS SKILLS I LEARNED THROUGHOUT MY JOURNEY.
THE PROJECT ENTAILED CREATING A NEW BRAND, COMPANY, OR IDENTITY. AFTER THAT, WE WERE TASKED WITH PROMOTING THE COMPANY IN WHATEVER WAY WE THOUGHT BEST.
CHOOSING TO FOCUS ON IMPERFECTIONS WAS PROMPTED FROM HOW SOCIAL MEDIA PUSHES A CONCEPT OF PERFECTION. LATELY, THE LENGTHS THAT PEOPLE WOULD GO TO IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE BODY THEY WANTED GET PUSHED FURTHER AND FURTHER. INSTEAD, I WANT TO HELP VOICE THAT IMPERFECTIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL IN THEIR OWN WAY, MAKING EACH PERSON IS BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE IN THEIR OWN WAY. 
THE LOGO WAS CREATED USING PROCREATE AND FINISHING IN ILLUSTRATOR. THE LOGO ITSELF SAYS 'IMPERFECT', WHILE ALSO SAYING 'IM PERFECT'.
THE FONT ITSELF WAS HANDWRITTEN IN PROCREATE. USING CHALKBOARD SE AS A TEMPLATE, 'HEARTFELT LETTERS' WAS BORN. I MADE MULTIPLE COPIES OF EACH LETTER TO ADD UNIQUENESS TO THE FONT.
I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA TO FIND PEOPLE THAT HAVE IMPERFECTIONS OF THEIR OWN AND WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE IN MY PROJECT. THESE PICTURES WERE EDITED USING LIGHTROOM CLASSIC AND PHOTOSHOP. LATER, THEY WOULD BE PRINTED OUT IN POSTERS AT 17"X25".
MOCKUPS WERE CREATED IN PHOTOSHOP. THE COLOR PALETTE USES PASTEL COLORS TO ADD A SOFTER TOUCH TO THE BRAND AND MAKE IT FEEL WELCOMING AND EMBRACING. ADDITIONALLY, I CREATED A MOCKUP OF AN INSTAGRAM POST.
LASTLY, I CREATED A WEBSITE MOCK USING THE LINK FOUND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POSTERS. USING ADOBE FIRELY AI, I PROMPTED FOR A PICTURE OF A GROUP OF PEOPLE WITH IMPERFECTIONS SITTING TOGETHER AND SMILING FOR A PICTURE.
